UniverSOUL Hip Hop, LLC is a K-12 cultural educational group of international, award-winning artists and educators. We artfully blend the creativity of Hip Hop with the rigor of standards-based pedagogy and practices to provide cutting edge, interdisciplinary dance programs that cultivate lifelong learning, social fellowship, and 21st century success.
Since 1997 24th STreet Theatre has been a leader in Arts Education, both in LA and nationally, by providing world-class theatre field trips, school residencies, and professional development workshops that teachers actually love! 24th STreet Theatre is a unique organization blending professional children’s theatre and world class Arts Education.
Education Through Music-Los Angeles puts music back into inner-city schools as part of the core curriculum for every child, where it belongs. Education Through Music-LA is serving nearly 12,000 students with weekly, yearlong music instruction. Music has the power to transform the lives of children and their communities, and to provide them with such lifelong benefits including self-confidence, problem-solving skills, teamwork, perseverance, concentration, and motivation to stay in school. The Armory Center for the Arts builds on the power of art to transform lives and communities through creating, teaching, and presenting the arts. At the core of the Armory’s work is a deep commitment to social justice through arts education. A key goal of the Armory’s mission is to provide engaging, high-quality art classes and art experiences in the region’s lowest income neighborhoods in order to advance cultural equity. Over 80% of programming serves socioeconomically disadvantaged youth and families.
Lineage Dance and Performing Arts Center is a nonprofit arts organization that creates dance performance, provides arts education, nonprofit support, arts production infrastructure, dance classes for persons with movement challenges, and more.
Dramatic Results is an award-winning nonprofit that makes learning real by engaging educators and learners through collaborative hands-on projects that impact the practice of education. Since 1992, the agency has delivered educational programming to historically excluded students using art, design, and culture as an entryway into STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) subjects. Over 32 years, the agency has served 35,000 students and empowered more than 450 classroom teachers.
Inner-City Arts' mission is to engage young people in the creative process in order to shape a society of creative, confident and collaborative individuals. We provide arts classes and workshops for school-aged children, classroom teachers and school administrators.
Culture Shock Los Angeles is a nonprofit dance and arts education organization that utilizes Hip Hop and urban dance culture to cultivate meaningful education, enrichment and entertainment programs to inspire positive change in the communities we serve.
