Resources for Healing Centered Practices

We have engaged with and supported arts-based, healing-centered approaches in different iterations since joining a cross-agency workgroup tasked with supporting justice-involved youth in 2014. These approaches were fostered alongside and with the leadership of a cohort of community-based arts organizations, including the Arts for Healing and Justice Network (AHJN) and Spirit Awakening Foundation. With the growing recognition of the importance of healing-centered practices over the years, we began work on a Wisdom Guide, framed by learnings and concept from the Healing-Centered Engagement (HCE) framework, developed by Dr. Shawn Ginwright and Nedra Ginwright, co-founders of Flourish Agenda.

Flourish Agenda synthesized the learnings and concepts developed by workgroup members from the above convenings to inform an arts-based, healing centered engagement Wisdom Guide.
